AMAZON SUNRISE: Observe the sunrise while listening to and spotting various bird species. Breakfast at the Lodge.

RESCUE CENTER: We will head to the Wildlife Rescue Center (“Fundo Rony”) to observe and interact with some wild animals such as sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors, and turtles. It will be an interesting way to learn to value and respect the typical wildlife of our Amazon. Reminder: In this center, these animals are kept in cages because they are provided with care for a few days before being released.

AMAZONIAN TRAPICHE: Tasting of handcrafted macerations such as camu camu, the “seven roots,” and ginger. These provide a unique opportunity to experience their medicinal properties. These infusions are rich in health benefits, such as boosting the immune system thanks to camu camu’s vitamin C, improving digestion, and promoting vitality with the seven roots, and relieving digestive discomfort and nausea with ginger.

PIRANHA FISHING: We will then prepare for the Artisan Fishing Tour, where the guide will teach us the local fishing techniques for piranhas or other species using the same materials that Amazonian locals use for subsistence fishing.

NIGHT CANOEING: We will go canoeing at night in search of caimans. We will learn about their lifestyle, their vital role in nature, and then release them back into the wild

Breakfast BOTANICAL WALK: We will take a botanical walk to learn about the main trees and medicinal plants found in the Amazon.

YANAYACU RIVER NAVIGATION: We will board a peque peque boat to navigate the Yanayacu River. This remote corner of the jungle harbors an astonishing biodiversity, with lush forests, winding rivers, and a unique variety of wildlife.

GIANT TREE TRAIL: Our goal is to reach the giant tree where we can make a wish to Mother Nature at the feet of the mighty Lupuna tree.

YAGUAS INDIGENOUS TRIBE: Whose ancestors were discovered by Francisco de Orellana during his first Amazon exploration in 1541. This visit will allow you to learn about their ancestral customs, appreciate their original attire made from palm fibers, and even test your aim with the “pucuna” (blowgun) that the Yaguas have used for centuries to hunt.

VISIT TO A RIVERSIDE VILLAGE: After lunch, our guide will indicate the exact time to start our new activity as we visit the town of Fátima, where we can learn a bit more about this riverside community on the banks of the Amazon River.

AMAZONIAN STORIES: At night, we will hear stories about Amazonian myths, tales, and legends, which are an integral part of the local Loreto identity, such as Yacuruna, Sachamama, and Chullachaqui.

BUTTERFLY FARM: After breakfast, we will head to the San Rafael butterfly farm, a farming community. At the butterfly farm, we will see different butterfly species. This magical place immerses you in the fleeting beauty of butterflies. This captivating sanctuary is a hidden gem that offers a unique experience in the heart of nature.

MONKEY ISLAND #2: After breakfast, we will prepare to visit another, more secret and preserved monkey island than the one on the first day, to discover new monkey species. We will learn about each species that exists in this place, how to care for them, interact with them, and see more than five types of monkeys, including some endangered species.
