The majestic neoclassic structure dominates the town from the highest point of Porto Maurizio, providing a scenic vista over the sea, the hills, and the little enchanting village of Parasio nearby. The church features a perfectly symmetrical façade in the elegant white color and a sumptuous interior with exquisite paintings covering from the floor to the dome ceiling, along with many other stunning artworks.

Next, go through the Archivolt of Tina, the entrance to Parasio. The historic arch used to be part of the medieval city wall. Just a few steps away is the 12th-century Oratory of San Pietro, the oldest religious building in Imperia and one of the most beautiful architectural works in Parasio. It was named after the famous Italian writer Gustavo Strafforello born in the village.
