What you can expect

Step aboard our 40-foot catamaran, Imiloa, and cruise the turquoise waters off Kauai in search of humpback whales during the winter season. Observe these magnificent ocean giants from the water and, when available, listen to their underwater songs using an onboard hydrophone.

Keep your camera ready for memorable moments, as whales may display a range of natural behaviors such as breaching, tail-slapping, and spouting.

Throughout the journey, your U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain shares insights into humpback whale biology and behavior. Light snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine and cocktails are served onboard for a relaxed and comfortable whale-watching experience.
