At the end of the gorge, reach the picturesque village Komitades, where you have free time for lunch.

    Next, drive to Fragokastello, an old Venetian castle, and listen to tales of its interesting history from your guide. According to legend, around the anniversary of an important battle in May, shadows of Cretan and Epirote soldiers—known as Drosoulites or dew-men—are said to march to the castle at dawn. As your tour ends, enjoy free time to swim in the cool Libyan Sea before returning to your hotel.
