Our adventure begins in the exclusive corner of Lopes Mendes, voted one of the best beaches in the world. While the main shoreline is famous for its strong waves, the stretch where we disembark offers a show of its own: an almost deserted area, with no boats, with calm and transparent waters that look like a mirror under the fine, light-colored sand. It's a magical and charming retreat to start the day in tranquility.

Sailing along the coast, we arrive at Caxadaço, a treasure hidden behind an imposing rock wall. This rustic cove, just 15 meters (49 feet) long, served as a natural shelter for boats in colonial times, remaining invisible to those passing by sea. Surrounded by dense vegetation, the beach has a small freshwater stream flowing into it, creating one of the island's most spectacular and exclusive landscapes.
