TATACOA DESERT
• Ideally, arrive in Neiva before noon
• Tasting of typical regional cuisine (Achiras)
• In Villavieja, boat tour along the Magdalena River to observe the typical flora and fauna along the riverbanks
• Transfer to the Tatacoa landscape
• Red Desert tour: Rainbow Trail, Cusco Labyrinths, and Los Colorados Viewpoint
• Gray Desert tour: Xilópalos trail, the most secluded part of Tatacoa, Paso de la Culebra, Estrecho de las Señoritas, Cueva del Tiempo
• Executive or vegetarian lunch (optional protein: chicken, beef, or pork)
• Pool swim
• Astronomical observation
• 8:45 PM: Return to hotel in Neiva for rest
DAY 2
SAN AGUSTÍN
Breakfast
• 7:00 am: Departure southbound to the municipality of San Agustín
• Towns along the route (Campoalegre, Hobo, Gigante, Garzón, Altamira, Timaná, Pitalito, San Agustín); no stops to enter these towns
• Tour of the Archaeological Park
• Dinner
• Tour of the town of San Agustín, check-in at the hotel, rest
DAY 3
SAN AGUSTÍN AND ISNOS
Breakfast
• 8:00 AM: Departure to the La Chaquira Archaeological Viewpoint, the Magdalena Strait, and the Alto de los Ídolos Archaeological Park
• Lunch en route
• Return to the hotel in Neiva, rest
