What you can expect

Explore the Hue Imperial City on a guided tour. Learn about the history of the Nguyen dynasty and the culture of Vietnam and Hue as you walk through the vast grounds and see the various structures.

Meet your guide and start the tour from the meeting address. Walk into Imperial City via Ngo Mon Gate. Follow your guide to visit Thai Hoa (Harmony Palace) then, in turn, visit the important constructions inside Imperial City and Forbidden City.

The Mieu Temple, which was used to worship the emperors, to understand why some kings weren't allowed to be worshiped inside. Head to the Forbidden City to admire the Kien Trung Palace, which was used as a residence for the king's family.

End your tour at the Royal Library and Royal Garden before walking out of Imperial City Hue to end the tour!
