  • Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang and Ao Nam Mao. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking.
  • If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East.
  • If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang.
  • If you stay in Klong Muang, there is an extra fee of 200 THB per person for the round-trip transfer which has to be paid on the day of the trip.
  • If you stay in Tubkaek Beach, there is an extra fee of 200 THB per person for the round-trip transfer which has to be paid on the day of the trip.
  • If you stay in Krabi Town, there is an extra fee of 200 THB per person for the round-trip transfer which has to be paid on the day of the trip.
  • You do not need previous riding experience.

Located right on Ao Nam Mao Beach not far from Ao Nang, this is a perfect location for horse riding. The beach is always very quiet apart from local fishermen searching for crabs, amazing considering it’s only ten minutes from the touristic center in Ao Nang. For riding horses this really is the perfect place.

The wind in your hair, hooves thudding across powdery sand, crashing surf—there might not be anything dreamier than a hoseback ride on the beach. Climb into the saddle of a sturdy steed for an unforgettable ride across beautiful and secluded Ao Nam Mao Beach.

Get picked up from your hotel and ride to the beach, where you're acquainted with your horse and a helpful stable hand gets you equipped with a helmet and saddle. Listen to a short safety briefing and some riding tips, and then mount the horse and spur them off onto the beach, following behind your guide as you make your way along the shore.

Walk, trot, and canter along the golden sands, leading the horse into the waves to splash through the shallow turquoise water if you'd like. Pass by local fisherman looking for crabs, and take in views over the 4 islands that dot the shoreline. If you opt for the longer ride, you can also turn inland for a picturesque trail ride through country villages and plantations.

    • 09:00 - 10:00: Horse riding at Ao Nam Mao Beach
    • 10:00 - 10:30: Transfer back to your hotel
  • 2-hour ride
    • 08:30 - 09:00: Hotel pickup in Krabi
    • 09:00 - 10:00: Start ride from Ao Nam Mao to visit a fisherman village
    • 10:00 - 11:00: Enjoy riding at Ao Nam Mao Beach
    • 11:00 - 11:15: Transfer back to your hotel
