After departing from Sapporo, the first stop varies depending on the season.
Winter Season (Approx. December 1 – March 30)
During the winter season, guests have the opportunity to join an optional snowmobile experience (at their own expense). Led by professional instructors, this exciting activity allows you to ride across Hokkaido's beautiful snowy landscape and experience one of the region's most popular winter adventures.
Please note that the snowmobile experience is subject to weather and snow conditions. If the activity cannot operate safely due to insufficient snowfall or adverse weather, the itinerary will instead include a visit to Meisui Park.
The Rest of the Year (Approx. April 1 – November 30)
During the rest of the year, the first stop will be Meisui Park, a peaceful natural park famous for its crystal-clear spring water and beautiful surroundings. Take a relaxing stroll and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere before continuing the journey.
Lake Toya Observation Deck (All Year Round)
The second stop throughout the year is the Lake Toya Observation Deck, where you can admire panoramic views of one of Japan's most beautiful caldera lakes. Surrounded by mountains, Lake Toya offers stunning scenery in every season—from fresh greenery in spring and summer to vibrant autumn colors and snow-covered landscapes in winter.
Next, continue to Lake Hill Farm, a charming countryside farm renowned for its fresh dairy products. Guests may enjoy locally produced milk, ice cream, or other Hokkaido specialties (at their own expense) while relaxing in the peaceful rural atmosphere.
Continue to Showa Shinzan, one of Japan's youngest volcanoes. Here, you'll have free time to admire the unique volcanic landscape, browse local souvenir shops, or enjoy lunch at your own expense.
The highlight of the day is Noboribetsu Hell Valley (Jigokudani), Hokkaido's most famous geothermal valley. Walk along wooden pathways surrounded by steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and rugged volcanic terrain while experiencing the incredible power of nature up close. Every season reveals a different side of this spectacular landscape, making it an unforgettable destination all year round.
After a full day of sightseeing, relax on the journey back to downtown Sapporo, where the tour concludes in the evening.
