Arrive at the meeting point and follow the greeter to the dock. Get on the wooden boat, which can hold up to 4 people, and then float along the river. Take in the peaceful night view of the Hoai River on the way. Then, light your flower lantern and drop it into the river so it can drift to sea.

Learn how lighting these lanterns is like a prayer to bring luck, peace, health, and good fortune to yourself and your loved ones. Gaze at the bright flame of the flower lantern as it goes down the river. Finally, get off the boat and soak up the atmosphere with a walk around the night market.
