Recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, My Son was once the spiritual and political capital of the Champa Kingdom, which flourished between the 4th and 13th centuries.

Nestled in a lush, green valley surrounded by mountains, My Son Sanctuary is home to an impressive collection of ancient Hindu temples and towers. These structures were built by the Cham people to honor Shiva, one of the principal deities of Hinduism. Over the centuries, the sanctuary has endured wars and natural disasters, but many of its red-brick temples and intricate carvings remain, offering a fascinating glimpse into the region’s history, architecture, and spiritual life.

Our friendly guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Hoi An area. We’ll then depart together for My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

Arrive at My Son Sanctuary. Spend the next two hours exploring this ancient site on foot with our knowledgeable, English-speaking guide. Discover the fascinating Champa culture, admire the impressive ruins, and enjoy a traditional Champa performance.

Return to the minivan and transfer to the river wharf. Board a boat for a scenic cruise back to Hoi An along the Thu Bon River, the largest river in Central Vietnam. Relax with a refreshing breeze, marvel at the beautiful sunset, and soak in the vibrant river life.
