Hi, I’m Nghi - thank you for spending a few minutes looking at my tour. I love this city and its stories, and I want to share them with you in the most authentic way. No souvenir shops, no tourist traps - just a small group walking, talking, and discovering Saigon together. In the tour, feel free to ask me anything, and I may ask you too :).

In 2.5 hours, I’ll guide you through 10 main sights of Ho Chi Minh City, mixed with untold stories you won’t find on Google. This tour is perfect for both first-time and returning visitors who want real history, culture, and local insights to understand Saigon - and Vietnam - on a deeper level.

We’ll start at Bach Dang Harbour, to discover the background of Saigon. From there, we walk along the riverfront and down Nguyen Hue Walking Street, once the busiest area in the French colonial era.

I’ll take you for a coffee break at a real local spot, Ca Phe Muoi Chu Long, to taste special Vietnamese coffees like coconut coffee or salted coffee (included) - and hear stories about our coffee culture. :)

You’ll see the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and learn why “Uncle Ho” means so much to Vietnamese people. We’ll admire the elegant French architecture of the HCMC People’s Committee Hall, often called a mini City Hall of Paris.

Then comes one of my favourite stories: the CIA (Pittman) Apartment, the secret site of the famous helicopter evacuation photo from the Vietnam War.

Inside the Saigon Central Post Office, I’ll show you French-era details that most visitors (and even many locals) walk past without noticing. We’ll get through Book Street, a hidden gem for art and book lovers right in the city centre. I’ll also teach you a fun little survival Vietnamese session and we will play a mini game. :)

Our walk ends at the Independence Palace, one of Vietnam’s most iconic landmarks, where dramatic stories from the war still echo through its walls.
