Located around the fishing port, the Marina district is very lively and full of small shops and traditional restaurants.
Quartiere Castello

The tour will continue with the discovery of the Castello district, the historic quarter of the city. At the rhythm of the anecdotes of your passionate guide, you will get lost in its alleys where time seems to have stopped. The fortified district of the Castello is one of the main stages in your visit to the city. That is where many popular tourist sites such as the towers of the Elephant and Piazza Palazzo, or even the Santa-Maria Cathedral are located. You will stop to visit the cathedral. Built in the 13th century, in a Pisan style, it was renovated in the 1930s to offer a magnificent facade with columns and white and yellow limestone. Then the Palazzo di Citta, a monument next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria, once considered as the town hall of Cagliari, it is now a small museum that houses a rich collection of objects and paintings from Sardinia.
