Corcovado National Park – San Pedrillo
This is a full-day tour operating approximately from :6:45 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a unique experience in one of the most impressive and biodiverse national parks in Costa Rica.
The adventure begins at our Dolphin Tour office in Uvita, where our guides will welcome you and provide a briefing about the day's activities. We will then board our boat for a scenic journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes along Costa Rica's beautiful South Pacific coastline. During the navigation, it is possible to observe dolphins, sea turtles, coastal birds, and, during the whale migration seasons (July to October and December to March), humpback whales.
Upon arrival at Corcovado National Park – San Pedrillo Station, we will begin a guided hike along some of the park's authorized trails.
The visit normally includes two guided hikes. The first hike lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours, allowing visitors to explore different tropical rainforest ecosystems while maximizing wildlife observation opportunities. Afterwards, we will enjoy a picnic-style lunch surrounded by nature and, depending on weather conditions, trail conditions, and park ranger recommendations, a second hike of approximately 1 hour will be conducted.
The duration and route of both hikes may vary depending on weather conditions, trail conditions, park regulations, and the pace of the group. During the rainy season, some trails may have muddy sections, stream crossings, or temporary route modifications for safety and conservation purposes.
Wildlife commonly observed during the tour includes:
• White-faced capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys and spider monkeys.
