Discover the most natural side of Medellín with a trekking experience in Santa Elena and Parque Arví, personally guided by me, Felipe Tamayo. I designed this tour for those who want to get off the beaten track and connect with the mountains, even if they only have a limited amount of time in the city.
The experience begins with a pick-up at your hotel in Medellín. From there, we head to Santa Elena, a rural area full of tradition, fresh air, and green landscapes. As we ascend, you'll feel the atmosphere change: we leave the rhythm of the city behind to enter a peaceful and natural environment.
We will begin a hike of approximately 11 km, lasting 4 to 5 hours, along trails surrounded by native forests, abundant vegetation, and the sounds of nature. During the tour, I'll share local stories, facts about the ecosystem, and cultural details that will make this experience much more enriching than a simple hike.
One of the most special moments will be the arrival at the lagoon, a place surrounded by calm, ideal for taking a break, enjoying the scenery, and recharging your batteries. There you can connect with the surroundings, take photos, and experience an authentic moment away from mass tourism.
This tour is ideal for travelers looking for a complete experience in a short time: nature, physical activity, culture, and relaxation in a single day.
The experience includes transportation to and from your hotel in Medellín, a snack + coffee during the tour, a professional local guide, and medical assistance insurance.
To enjoy the hike to the fullest, I recommend wearing comfortable clothing, proper trekking shoes, sunscreen, sufficient hydration, and a light jacket, as the weather can vary in the mountains.
More than a hike, this is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, breathe fresh air, and discover one of the natural jewels that surround Medellín in an authentic, safe, and guided way.
