If you have ever wonder to sail through the steep canyons, when waters runs throw, hiking back in the time in the heart of Albanian Alps and Accursed Mountains this tour brings it nearer to you. These four days hiking & kayaking tour of Koman Lake, Valbona and Theth is a fine combination of stunning nature, warm Albanian welcoming and the mystic tradition and folklore.

Day 1: We will leave Tirana at 5:00 am to drive toward the Koman Lake when the ferry departs at 9:00 am to the other side of the lake, Fierza.Our station will be Berisha, a very remote village situated in the shores of the Koman lake. We will be welcomed to sleep with a local family, the only who had opened their doors for tourists.Kayaking experience and exploration of Koman Lake. Overnight at Berishe.

Day 2: Driving from Fierza to Valbona will needs around 45 minutes, passing through Bajram Curri, the municipally of the area. Lunch break in Valbona and hiking in Kukaj, a very remote area in Valbona Valley surroundings when we will see how the people do their living.

Day 3: Called also as the Big Day of the tour the second day is where we will hike from Valbona to Theth following the ancient path that locals had used in years, where back in the days to travel from Valbona to Shkoder was possible only by walking and 2 full days were needed !
Walking in this path we will pass through the oldest part of the village when people are still leaving in their more than 100 year’s old stone towers. It offers a spectacular view of the long rocky valley mixed with quite, relaxing forest and some traditional cafes for lunch break.Theth will amaze us with its unique nature, history and tradition. Its symbol, the “Lock in Tower” is a live proof of the past and history.

Day 4: After the breakfast at the Guesthouse, the Gurnas Waterfall is the next attraction. Around 45 minutes walk from the center of village the round to their pass through most of the village into a soft hilly terrain.
Living Theth behind and driving for around 3 hours we will reach Shkoder, the biggest city of the Albanian North. Free time in Shkoder and return in Tirana in the evening.
