Take time to admire the peaceful atmosphere and, if lucky, witness local Mayan ceremonies by the water. Afternoon: Explore the viewpoints around the lagoon for panoramic views of the surrounding area. If you have energy left, take a short hike around the lake’s perimeter. Evening: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Xela and relax after your day of hiking.

After breakfast, drive to the famous Fuentes Georginas Hot Springs, located about 45 minutes from Xela. These natural hot springs, nestled in the mountains, are known for their therapeutic warm waters and misty, forested surroundings. Spend the morning soaking in the thermal pools, surrounded by lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere. Have lunch at the Fuentes Georginas restaurant, offering local food and drinks with a scenic view of the hot springs. Afternoon: After a relaxing morning, start your journey back to Antigua.
