Let's share the geological history of the island in the mineral universe of one of the most active volcanoes in the world. The hike begins with a descent into the "enclosure" then we will walk through the lava flows to reach the base of the main cone and start the ascent to the summit crater. In the event of an eruption in the enclosure, it is closed by prefectural order. Our specialists will then offer you a route off the beaten track in the Plaine des Sables to catch a glimpse of the current eruption or to discover past eruptions and the history of the volcano. Children: We evolve throughout the course at more than 2000 m altitude, so it can be very cold at the volcano and the weather conditions can change very quickly (rain, fog, wind...).
