Explore a different side of Luang Prabang with an afternoon journey across the Mekong to Xiengman. Follow a guided temple route that combines local Buddhist traditions, a monk’s blessing, cave exploration, and a relaxing herbal foot soak.

After pickup from your hotel in Luang Prabang’s Old Town, travel to the pier and cross the river by ferry. On the other bank, walk with your English-speaking guide to discover temples and hear about their place in the community’s religious life.

A traditional flower offering is provided for your temple visit. With guidance on local etiquette, present the offering and take part in a monk’s blessing. This is an opportunity to experience a local tradition while respecting the temple setting and those who worship there.

Continue along the route to a cave, exploring in the company of your guide and following their instructions. The cave visit adds another perspective to the afternoon’s exploration of local sacred places.

Finish the activities with an herbal foot soak, giving your feet a rest before the journey back. Return to your hotel after an afternoon of temple visits and cultural discovery.

The tour operates only in the afternoon, from approximately 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, including hotel transfers.
