      What you can expect

      • Begin your journey at Citizens’ Square (Kansalaistori), right next to the iconic Helsinki Central Library Oodi — one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. It’s an excellent place to admire how modern architecture blends with everyday Finnish life, reflecting Finland’s deep connection to culture, education, and nature.

From here, we’ll walk toward the impressive Helsinki Central Station — home to the northernmost metro station in the world.

-We’ll make a short stop at Taulu to view one of the largest oil-on-canvas landscape painting in Finland
-We'll take a moment to admire its striking granite façade and the famous Lantern Carriers statues.

Then we’ll head to our first tasting stop at one of Helsinki’s most beloved cafés, while uncovering stories about Finnish architecture and some of Helsinki’s hidden street secrets.

A mandatory stop awaits in front of the impressive Helsinki Cathedral, we’ll visit the iconic Havis Amanda statue — a cherished local meeting point and symbol of Helsinki. Nearby, admire one of the city’s charming Art Nouveau architectural gems.

Our journey continues to the Market Hall area, where you’ll sample carefully selected local delicacies and traditional Lappish specialties. Here, you’ll hear stories about Finnish food traditions, seasonal ingredients, and the flavors that define northern cuisine.

From this spot, you’ll also have a beautiful view of the majestic Uspenski Cathedral. Architecture lovers can also glimpse the nearby “Sugar Cube” designed b Alvar Aalto

To conclude, we’ll dive into Finland’s most famous tradition — sauna culture. We’ll discuss its deep cultural meaning and take a look from the distance at one of the city’s most unexpected saunas, offering a modern twist on this timeless ritual.
