You may take a short funicular ride up to the Skywalk, where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the Dachstein Alps and Lake Hallstatt. Stop at the Bone House (Beinhaus) in St. Michael’s Chapel – home to a unique collection of decorated skulls. (It is very easy to explore Hallstatt’s Old Town on your own.)
