The underground caves are one of the most amazing visits to be made on Terceira Island. This tour passage through the Gruta Natal and the Algar do Carvão, also has the passage through the famous Furnas de Enxofre and the leisure area Lagoa das Patas.

What you can expect

The Tour starts by the afternoon where you´ll be picked up from your hotel and then you´ll go to the center of Terceira Island, visiting Lagoa das Patas, Gruta do Natal (lava tube), Furnas do Enxofre (sulfur fumaroles) and Algar do Carvão (volcano).

On this tour you´re going to see a lot of secret spots known by the locals.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Algar do Carvão is temporarily closed for reconstruction work on the museum, instead of Algar do Carvao we will visit the natural pools of Biscoitos.
