What you can expect

Experience the daily life of the H’mong people on a guided tour from Mu Cang Chai. Disguise yourself as a native farmer and learn about the daily job of the H’mong people.

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Mu Cang Chai. Then, head to the field to prepare the tools, cap, and wear like a farmer. The guide will take you to the farm where you will start the job.

Arrive at the field and learn how to do local seasonal jobs. Plow and harrow the rice field by water buffalo, sow rice into the land, grow rice by hand or grow corn on the mountain/pick apples or make baskets.

Do the jobs for 3 hours with the help of the tour guide and then return to an indigenous H'mong house to have lunch. Enjoy a local-style lunch, with vegetarian or vegan options available.
