Perkara yang anda boleh jangka

Experience the thrill of soaring through the lush tropical rainforest at Gumbalimba, one of Roatan's best canopy experiences. After a comprehensive safety briefing and professional harness fitting, you'll embark on an exhilarating canopy course featuring 13 steel zipline cables connected by 17 elevated platforms. Designed to accommodate both first-time participants and experienced adventurers, the course is fully guided by trained instructors who ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience from start to finish.

Beginning high above the lush jungle canopy, the adventure offers breathtaking aerial views of Roatan's tropical landscape as you glide effortlessly between platforms. The course winds through towering trees, crosses over a natural lagoon, and descends toward the Caribbean coastline, providing a unique perspective of the island's diverse ecosystems that few visitors ever experience.

Next you'll visit Gumbalimba Preservation Park, one of Roatan’s most respected eco-parks and wildlife conservation areas. Operating since 2003, the park has become widely recognized as one of the most legitimate animal rescue and rehabilitation centers on the island, providing a safe environment for rescued wildlife while educating visitors about conservation. Set within more than 20 acres of lush tropical forest, the park offers an immersive experience through botanical gardens, wildlife habitats, and historic exhibits.

Enjoy the opportunity to interact with some of the island’s most beloved wildlife species in a natural setting. The park is home to white-faced capuchin monkeys that roam freely through the trees and often interact playfully with visitors, scarlet macaws and parrots flying freely through the preserve, and native species such as iguanas, tropical birds, and small mammals. These animals are part of the park’s rescue and rehabilitation program, and interactions are supervised by trained staff.

Cross a 237-foot suspension bridge over a tropical lagoon, offering unique views of the forest canopy and wildlife below (Optional path named “Chicken Walk” for those who might be hesitant to cross).

Inside the park is Coxen’s Cave, a small museum depicting Roatan’s pirate history through murals, artifacts, and exhibits. Learn about famous pirates such as Captain John Coxen and the strategic role the Bay Islands played during the colonial era.

The park also features an insectarium displaying a collection of preserved butterflies, beetles, and exotic insects, providing an educational look into the region’s biodiversity.
