Begin your journey with a scenic ascent to Montanha da Penha. More than just a viewpoint, Penha is a sanctuary of biodiversity and spirituality. Follow your private guide through its unique granite formations, hidden caves, and the iconic Sanctuary, offering the most stunning panoramic views over the UNESCO World Heritage city of Guimarães.

Descend from the mountain and take the scenic route, driving through the rolling hills and lush landscapes where the world-famous Vinho Verde is born. See the unique vineyards up close and learn about the “terroir” that makes this wine so fresh and unique.

The highlight of the day is a visit to a traditional wine estate (Quinta). Step away from the tourist crowds and immerse yourself in the authentic Minho atmosphere. Depending on your preference, choose one of three exquisite experiences:

Option 1: Superior Wine Tasting – A curated selection of 3 premium wines, including 2 “Reserva” labels, paired with artisan bread, local jams, and regional cheese.

Option 2: Wine & Regional Tapas – The full gastronomic experience. Enjoy 3 wines paired with a generous board of smoked meats (enchidos), cheeses, bread, jams, and traditional savory snacks.

Option 3: Vineyard Picnic – A romantic or relaxed outdoor experience. Enjoy a basket filled with local delicacies and wine amidst the quiet beauty of the estate’s gardens.
