Today you will experience a bustling local morning wet market, step into the spectacular “Palace of Natural Arts” at Reed Flute Cave, and enjoy free time for lunch and shopping at the historic East-West Alley. You will also photograph the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill and relax on a One River & Four Lakes city waterway cruise, sailing past the iconic Sun and Moon Pagodas and under more than 10 designer bridges inspired by global architecture.

Option 2: Caves, City & Waterways + Longji Rice Terraces (2-Day Combo)

■Day 2: Head deep into the mountains to witness the spectacular 600-year-old “Dragon's Backbone” rice terraces. Today you will visit Huangluo Yao Village (the famous Long Hair Village) to learn about ethnic traditions, and explore the breathtaking terrace vistas around ancient Ping'an Zhuang Village.

08:30 - 16:00: Scenic drive & village exploration (Huangluo & Ping'an Terraces)
16:00 - 18:00: Return drive to your hotel in Guilin
Option 3 & 4: Caves, City & Waterways + Li River Cruise & Yangshuo Cycling (2-Day Combo)

■Day 2: Day 2: Journey from Guilin to Yangshuo. You will take a scenic 4-hour cruise down the Li River, admiring the stunning karst peaks along the way. Afterward, explore the vibrant atmosphere of West Street, and enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery of the Yulong River through a relaxing stroll, or choose an optional bicycle/scooter ride or bamboo raft drift past local paddies and villages.
07:10 - 07:50: Hotel pickup (Guilin city center)
07:50 - 14:00: Pier transfer & 4-hour Li River Cruise with onboard lunch (Note: guide does not board the ship; meets you in Yangshuo)
Option 3 (4-Star Boat): Comfort vessel with a buffet lunch. (Sample menu: chicken, duck, fish, pork, beef, vegetables, dim sum, fruits, soft drinks.)
