Your Guide will take you for two hours in the footsteps of the fighting that took place on Omaha Beach, on the Easy Red and Fox Green sectors, past Wn 62, fulcrum of the Atlantic Wall. Through the eyes and personal stories of German and American soldiers, you will discover how these men lived that day on June 6, 1944. Travelling through the German trenches and fortifications, your Guide will tell you how German soldiers reacted to the Allied landings and their impact on the early hours of D-Day on this beach, now known as “Bloody Omaha”.
After this time on the beach, your Guide will accompany you to the Colleville-sur-Mer American Cemetery to learn more about this memorial site, emblematic of the D-Day beaches, welcoming the burials of more than 9,300 men and women.
