The price of the park admission ticket – whether purchased at the entrance or booked online – includes a free ride on the small train, use of the restrooms, and a ride on the electric boat.

I offer guided tours of Plitvice Lakes National Park in French and German. The park comprises 16 lakes, which are connected by waterfalls. The Upper Lakes (12 in total) lie on dolomite – an almost watertight rock – while the Lower Lakes are located in a limestone gorge. At the far end of the lake system is the park's highest waterfall, Veliki Slap, an impressive 62-meter-high cascade. The water is crystal clear and shimmers in colors ranging from emerald green to turquoise blue. The park is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site; this designation recognizes the unique natural processes by which the characteristic travertine barriers are formed.
