What you can expect

This guided tour will let you discover the essentials of Turin's historic center. From the city gates of the Roman era to the noble palaces of the Baroque era to the sumptuous palaces of the Unesco circuit of the Savoy Residences such as Palazzo Carignano, Palazzo Madama and Palazzo Reale, you'll discover the city's role in the unification of Italy.
Starting from the Palatine Gate, the northern entrance to the Roman city, the tour continues to Piazza Castello, home to the main command buildings of the House of Savoy. It then continues along the arcades surrounding the square to discover some of the historic cafés most appreciated by locals and visitors, and to discover the delicacies of Turin's master chocolatiers.
In the wonderful Galleria Subalpina, you'll discover the Liberty style that made Turin the undisputed Italian capital of this artistic and architectural movement. Passing through Piazza Carignano, the tour wraps up in Piazza San Carlo, the city's most elegant square, after about 2 hours.
