Discover or rediscover one of the most beautiful châteaux in the Loire Valley, its architecture, and its extraordinary history with a fun tour to understand everything about the history of this unique heritage, whether you're 7 or 97!
Come and discover the history of a castle where the kings and queens of France lived long before Versailles. Besides the crimes and conspiracies that took place there, I'll explain the different architectural styles that make this castle a unique place in France. We'll also retrace the genealogy of the Valois kings and even the beginning of the Bourbons; but don't worry, we'll do it all with a little humor and funny anecdotes.
Heads up: this tour is interactive, and you'll need to join in by answering my questions or even trying to remember the names of our kings and queens.
Although this castle is less well-known than Versailles or even Chambord, it played a crucial role in France's history, and the other Loire Valley castles wouldn't be the same without it.
I'll meet you in front of the castle for a 90-minute guided tour, which will end in the Château de Blois.
For a more comfortable visit, I use a transmitter and headphone system for groups of more than 2 people. This way, the visit and understanding will be even better.
A little tip: backpacks are only allowed in the castle if you carry them in front of you; otherwise, we'll make a stop at the beginning of the tour to check them in.
