The tour includes: a walk to the monumental square to admire the 13th-century Palazzo del Podestà; a visit to the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta (if not occupied for celebrations, in which case the structure will be explained externally), with its austere Romanesque layout but with precious medieval and Renaissance frescoes inside; entrance to the majestic Rocca Viscontea, a military fortification dating back to the mid-14th century, with a climb to the panoramic terrace at the top of the keep tower.
