What you can expect

  • We'll begin our roughly 2-km tour through the Natural Monument of the Caves of Ajuy and follow a path along the coast and its cliffs until we reach the Arco del Jurado, a geological wonder on the west coast of Fuerteventura with fossils dating back more than 150 million years, when the island was beginning to form on the ocean floor.

    We'll return to the small, picturesque fishing village of Ajuy, where optionally (not included) and subject to availability, we can end with a Spanish tapas-style dinner at a local restaurant with spectacular sunset views over the sea and the beautiful volcanic black sand beach.
