Know before you book

  • Children aged 4 and younger are complimentary.
  • Please note this tour includes a climbing the stairs tour of the Eiffel Tower to the second floor– you will receive elevator tickets to descend, but you must ascend via the internal staircase. Therefore this tour is only suitable for guests with good mobility levels.
  • This tour is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Participants will need to be able to climb 700 steps in approximately 1 hour.
  • Summit access is determined at the discretion of the Eiffel Tower security staff and if summit is closed you will receive a refund for the upgrade portion if booked
  • This tour doesn’t include skipping the line. Your guide will purchase the tickets for you after you arrive. The wait time to purchase tickets can be up to two hours, but rest assured that your guide will keep you entertained and provide insightful information about the Eiffel Tower while you wait.
  • Summit access is not included unless that option is chosen when booking the tour
  • Seine River cruise tickets are included ONLY IF option chosen at checkout (physical tickets distributed when you arrive for Eiffel Tower tour)
  • Per Eiffel Tower rules, if you upgrade your tour to see the summit, Eiffel Tower staff requires you to go straight to the summit as soon as you reach the second floor. You'll still be able to explore both the first and second floors on your own after the summit if you choose.

Along the ascent, you'll be immersed in stories and fascinating facts about the Tower and its neighboring landmarks. Witness the evolving scenery that unfolds around you on this journey, which is as awe-inspiring as the destination itself. The history, the legends, the views!! It’s all waiting for you at one of the world’s most visited landmarks, The Eiffel Tower.

For those who have bought the Summit option, an elevator will transport you from the 2nd level to the Summit. In the rare instance that the Summit is closed, you'll be provided with a tour and ticket to the 2nd Level. You will receive a refund for the price difference between the two options. In adherence to Eiffel Tower regulations, if you choose to upgrade your tour for summit access, it's imperative to proceed directly to the summit upon reaching the second floor. After exploring the top, you're welcome to freely roam the first and second floors on your descent. The first floor of the Eiffel Tower boasts additional exhibits, a glass floor, and occasional temporary exhibitions.

If you opted for the cruise option, you'll also receive your tickets for a one-hour Seine River cruise when you check in for your Eiffel Tower tour. These tickets remain valid for a year and can be enjoyed at your convenience after your Eiffel Tower adventure. Since the tickets are distributed on-site, punctuality is key. Missing your Eiffel tour may result in forfeiture of your boat tickets.

Tour guide refused to buy summit tickets even though we paid for summit option. Lied to our group saying it was closed due to over crowding, once we saw it was open he then said that the view was better if we did not go to the summit.

We did the Eiffel tower climb on July 19. The tour was average. The Paris Tour 1 group was unorganized and chaotic with one leader organizing multiple tour groups and guides at the same time. Our guide, Amira, was nice. The climb wasn't hard or exhausting.This is a skip the line tour which was really nice.

A wonderful tour of the tower. Our tour guide was superb and very personable. Would recommend this tour only for the fit. You will get winded and some will drop out of the tour. This tour jwas informative and fun. The tour avoided the long lines, and since the vast majority of people take the elevators up to the top, you aren’t in those lines. The tour stops at level two, but by then most everyone is winded and happy to take the elevator to the summit or return to the ground!
