This enormous rock formation stands over 200 meters (656 feet) tall and is a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can climb a staircase with 649 steps to reach the top of La Piedra, where they are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including the numerous lakes and islands in the region. It's a unique and iconic natural wonder in the Guatapé area, and many visitors come to experience the stunning vistas it offers.
