The meeting point is the Saut d'Acomat waterfall in Pointe-Noire at 9:00 a.m. Equipment distribution (wetsuits, helmets, and bags) and briefing. You will need to bring a pair of shoes for the activity. A short, easy 15-minute approach walk through the tropical forest before discovering the river and its many pools. The water temperature will never drop below 72 degrees Fahrenheit (22 degrees Celsius). Final technical briefing from the guide before setting off on the first rapids. The descent lasts about 1 hour and 45 minutes, and we will alternate between swimming, walking, jumping, and sliding, all in a breathtaking tropical setting.
At the end, we reach the Acomat Jump, which we cross via a giant water slide.
A short 10-minute walk takes us back to the vehicle.
You can bring snacks and a camera.
