Your expert guide meets the group for a brief orientation on the flavors and history of the region before heading to our first culinary landmark.
You visit the Municipal Market for a true local “taco crawl.” Guests can choose 2 tacos from over 20 different traditional fillings, ranging from classic al pastor to local regional specialties, all while soaking in the sights and sounds of the island’s main trading hub.
At your final location, the hands-on fun begins. Under guided instruction, guests will craft three iconic accompaniments:
o Salsa Roja: Fresh ingredients crushed in a traditional stone molcajete.
o Pico de Gallo: The classic fresh, crisp, and vibrant.
o Signature Guacamole: Creamy, rich, and tailored to the guest's preferred spice level.
To crown the experience, guests will enjoy 2 succulent Barbacoa tacos topped with their own handmade salsas, served with a refreshing cold beer. The tour concludes with a short, scenic walk back to the pier or the downtown shopping district.
