Bursa, the former capital of the Ottoman Empire. Take in the scenery of the Turkish countryside and arrive in the city to visit the famed Green Mosque, the Green Mausoleum, and the silk market during this day trip from Istanbul.

You will be picked up from your hotel in the early morning, drive from Istanbul to Eskihisar port and take a ferry to Topcular.

Enjoy the cruise across the sea and then sit back for a comfortable ride through rural landscapes on your way to Bursa, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its significance as the birthplace of the Ottoman Empire.

Once you arrive in the city, delve into its rich past and stunning architectural treasures with a visit to the Green Mosque. Admire the elaborate tile work in the beautifully embellished interior of this 15th-century structure, and then continue on to the Green Mausoleum, a mosaicked, hexagonal structure built as the burial place of Ottoman sultans.

Drive to Uludag Mountain for a barbeque lunch. You will have free time for ATVs, safari, ski motor, and skiing(in winter).

Stroll past the colorful fabrics on offer in the covered silk market before leaving the city. Stop to see the 600-year-old plane tree in Inkaya, enjoy a coffee in the shade, and snap photos of the towering, snow-capped peak of Uludag before you're returned to your Istanbul hotel.
