This walking tour explores the lower part of North Adelaide, an historic settlement just outside of the CBD of Adelaide city. Being an early settlement, there is an interesting diverse mix of row housing, worker's cottages, victorian villas as well as grand mansions along the route. Hear the stories about some of the early residents and how North Adelaide came to be. Highlights include visiting an old brewery and old church as well as passing by some lovely homes from the nineteenth century.

Not only is the history of the area covered but also subject matter such as architecture, heritage and culture. The tour is easy paced and covers easy terrain. One of the earliest sub-divisions in Adelaide is also visited during this tour.
