Paint the Golden Gate Bridge at Crissy Field in a small-group outdoor watercolor experience inspired by the bay and its changing light.

No experience is needed. All professional-quality materials are included, and you’ll begin with a lightly pre-drawn sketch so you can start painting with confidence.

We’ll first observe the landscape together, noticing light, color, and distance, then use simple watercolor techniques to create your own interpretation of this iconic view.

Small groups mean plenty of individual guidance. The goal isn’t perfection, but learning to slow down, see more carefully, and experience a place through painting.

I teach workshops at SFMOMA and the San Francisco Botanical Garden, and have collaborated with the Asian Art Museum and California Academy of Sciences.

You’ll leave with an original watercolor and a memory more personal than a photograph.
