What you can expect
Along the way spot eagles, red deer and other rare birds of prey and water birds. Learn about the history of the area, Bonnie Prince Charlie's significant journey his involvement with local clans and the landing at Glenfinnan to raise the Royal Standard. For those more interested in Half Blood Prince's you can see places featured in the Harry Potter films too.
Gaskan cottage, isolated away from the world in its own special wilderness, was once lived in by the famous nature writer Mike Tomkies who reared wildcats and studied Golden Eagles here.
Gaskan is a charming area of the loch and a wonderful view of the loch between the two brother islands is a great photo for the photographers amongst us.
