Learn about the mysteries and myths of Loch Ness, and gaze at some of the most breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands. Scotland is famed for its monstrous lake inhabitant and outstanding natural beauty; uncover both on this tour.

Leaving from Glasgow, head north toward the Highlands on a comfortable minibus. The first stop of the day will be on the shores of Loch Lomond, here you will have time to admire the views over the largest freshwater loch in Scotland, as you take time for a comfort stop.

As our journey continues north, enter the stunning beauty of Glen Coe’s steep, green hillsides. As you take in the sights, listen to your guide tell stories of the valley’s bloody history and the 17th century massacre of the MacDonald clan.

You will then continue your travels into the Scottish Highlands, with a visit to the attractive village of Fort Augustus on the shores of Loch Ness, this is one of the pinnacles of this tour. During your time here, you will have the option to take a cruise on the loch, for a chance of some Nessie spotting, or you can stay on the shore, to explore the village, or to take a walk along a short part of the Caledonian Canal.

Enjoy the stunning scenery as we travel via the spectacular wilderness of the Cairngorms National Park, located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Catch a glimpse of the highest area in Scotland, home to five out of six of the UK’s highest mountains. Here you will have the opportunity to relax and admire the beautiful landscapes.

Continuing south, we’ll enjoy a final stop in the heart of Highland Perthshire, where you will have the chance to buy some fabulous local produce and meet some friendly Highland coos! You will then travel past the historic city of Stirling, where you will get a glimpse of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, before you return to Glasgow to end your tour with us.
