What you can expect

Begin your private guided tour with a visit to the impressive 100 Ton Gun, one of the largest guns ever built in the late 19th century. Constructed by Britain to protect its strategic territories, only two of these colossal guns were installed in Gibraltar, highlighting the Rock’s crucial military importance.

Next, travel to Europa Point, the southernmost tip of Gibraltar. From this dramatic location, enjoy stunning views across the Strait of Gibraltar toward North Africa and Morocco, as well as sweeping vistas of the Bay of Gibraltar and nearby Spanish coastal towns.

From here, continue into the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Your first stop will be St Michael’s Cave, one of Gibraltar’s most visited natural attractions. Wander through vast limestone caverns formed over millions of years by rainwater slowly dissolving the rock, creating an extraordinary underground landscape with easy access for visitors.

The tour then takes you to the Top of the Rock, where two highlights await. Step onto the spectacular Skywalk, a former military lookout transformed into a state-of-the-art glass platform offering uninterrupted 360º views across the Mediterranean. Experience a sense of space, height, and exhilaration from this unique viewpoint.

A short walk from the Skywalk brings you to the Upper Apes’ Den, home to Gibraltar’s famous Barbary macaques. These monkeys are the only wild apes found in Europe and live freely within the nature reserve, providing a memorable wildlife encounter.

Continue to the historic Great Siege Tunnels, carved by hand during the Great Siege of the late 18th century. This remarkable site reveals how Gibraltar was defended against Spanish and French forces and offers deep insight into the Rock’s military resilience.

As the tour descends, visit the iconic Moorish Castle, a medieval fortress standing proudly on the eastern face of the Rock. A powerful symbol of Gibraltar’s diverse and turbulent past, the castle reflects centuries of conquest and control.

Conclude your experience with a drive through Gibraltar’s Old Town, passing historic streets and buildings that showcase the territory’s unique blend of cultures and history.
