Once in Gibraltar, the dolphin safari leaders will take you to the boat to start the activity. The boat trip lasts approximately 2 hours. There are several species of dolphins that live permanently in the Strait and although the best months to see them are from November to January, they can be seen all year round as this is their breeding habitat. Sometimes in addition to dolphins you may also see whales, as the Strait is a well known migratory corridor.
In addition to dolphin sightings, in Gibraltar you can also encounter orcas the summer months.
