What you can expect

Take part in a chocolate-making workshop in Ghent and learn how to craft the perfect praline and mendiant, Belgian style. Get a taste of tradition and culture as you temper your very own chocolates and prepare 30 delicious pieces to eat on the spot or take home.

During your guided workshop, you will learn how to prepare two chocolate staples, the melt-in-your-mouth praline and the crispy mendiant.

Pralines: master the most famous Belgian chocolate, consisting of a delicate chocolate shell with a creamy filling. Learn how to make both the shell and the filling from scratch.

Mendiants: create these iconic chocolate discs, studded with crispy and delicious dried fruits.

Create at least 30 chocolates, which you can either eat on the spot or take home to family and friends. With time-honored techniques made simple and a dash of chocolate theory, you'll be able to serve up your homemade Belgian-style chocolates in your own kitchen.
