If you're an adventurous traveler looking for an unforgettable experience, this boat excursion into the heart of Lake Gatun will be one of your favorites. On a tour that combines history and ecology, you'll navigate the Panama Canal until you reach its hidden islands, where, conditions permitting, you'll be able to observe families of capuchin, white-faced, and howler monkeys.

The expedition begins on the banks of the Chagres River, where we'll board the boat that will take us along the route. At the front will be a tour guide who is an expert in wildlife watching, tasked with identifying the different species that inhabit the islands of the large reservoir. In a few minutes, we'll reach Gatun Lake and, as we sail through its waters, we'll pass boats in transit between the Miraflores and Gatun locks, either heading towards the Caribbean or the Pacific.
