Perkara yang anda boleh jangka

Welcome to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a small town that offers old fashioned Bavarian style and hospitality. Garmisch and Partenkirchen were separate towns for many centuries, and still maintain quite separate identities, each retaining its own distinct character: Garmisch has a modern vibe, while Partenkirchen has retained its old-world Alpine village charm. Today Garmisch is the number one winter sports venue in Germany offering some of the best skiing in the land, including runs on Germany’s highest peak, the Zugspitze (2964m). The town is also famous for having hosted the 1936 Winter Olympics along with the International Alpine Skiing Championships in 1978 and 2011. See the famous Ludwig Street which holds an impressive collection of Luftl-paintings on most houses, adorned with colorful flowers on each balcony. The artful frescoes read like a picture book, telling stories of piety and of the craftsmanship of its former owners. Discover the highlights of this charming place by foot, because in Garmisch, just walking around the town is a real treat.
