What you can expect
Begin your culinary adventure with an exclusive walk through of the Ganghwa Folk Market, the island’s largest traditional market. Gain deep insights from your Chef’s expert commentary on seasonal ingredients and local specialties as you explore the vibrant market stalls together.
Next, awaken your palate with historic natural spring water paired with a curated selection of authentic market snacks handpicked by your Culinary Expert. Then, move to the restaurant (or a long-standing local gem) to enjoy a rich, authentic Ganghwa table setting. Your host specially provides traditional Korean pancakes and premium local liquor. (Guests only need to cover their own individual main meal order 18,000won).
At the Sochang Experience Center, you can drink and experience Ganghwado's specialty, Turnip Tea. Goryeo Dynasty Hanbok experience is also available depending on your preference.
(Hanbok rental fee are at your own expense. 3,000won)Unwind in a historic cafe that reflects the unique cultural heritage of the island. Your Chef host will share stories behind the local culture in this meaningful space. (Cafe beverages are at your own expense. 7~8,000won)
The Goryeo Fortress Wall hiking to the mineral spring may be replaced with another activity depending on the weather.
