What you can expect

    Following a pick-up from your hotel, explore the city’s most historic areas. Your driver will be happy to show you the highlights of the city center, and take you down some of the narrowest streets. The focus will be on 3 main areas: Santa Maria (Old Town), São Pedro, and Sé.

    Start in Santa Maria down by the sea, and continue to São Pedro just north of the cathedral. Then, enter the historical center of Sé, where highlights include the Gothic façade of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption with its Mudéjar-inspired design of cedar wood and exterior walls made of stone from Cabo Girão.

    Return to Santa Maria to experience the fun of Funchal in its nightlife epicenter.
