Overview

  • Discover Morón Oasis, a natural desert escape about one hour from Paracas, where towering dunes meet a peaceful lagoon surrounded by native vegetation.
    The journey takes you through the green Pisco Valley, creating a striking contrast between fertile farmland and the desert landscape. At Morón, you can join an optional 40–50 minutes guided dune walk, including time to pause, enjoy panoramic views and take photos from the dune ridges.
    Back at the oasis, relax by the lagoon, swim if you wish, or try optional sandboarding. Additional activities such as boat rides and paddleboarding may also be available on site and can be arranged directly with local providers at an extra cost.
    With few crowds and no large tourist infrastructure, Morón offers a peaceful, flexible way to experience one of the region’s most remarkable desert landscapes.
