Before starting the tour, we will pick you up at our selected hotels in Salta or in the dessignated meeting point to begin our journey.

Then, we will travel to Quebrada del Toro and visit the Tastil Village, with its cave paintings and impressive stone constructions. We will explore the Tastil Ruins, a pre-Inca archaeological site declared a National Historic Monument and World Heritage Site on the Inca Trail.

From there, we will arrive at San Antonio de los Cobres. This special tourist spot is well known for its beauty, landscapes and characteristic culture. Here we will have a break for lunch (not included).

Afterwards, we will drive along Route 40 until we reach the Salinas Grandes, right on the border between Salta and Jujuy. Enjoy some free time to take pictures and admire one of the largest salt flats in the world, which attracts visitors from all over the world every year.

We will then start our descent down the Cuesta de Lipán where condors can usually be spotted. Finally, we will visit the typical village of Purmamarca and the magical Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colours), which has been declared a Historic Cultural Monument and is of admirable beauty.

Lastly, we return to Salta by motorway, arriving at the hotels around 20:00 hs.
